Welcome to our Bud Grafting Workshop, hosted by the Rochester Folk Art Guild and Cornell Cooperative Extension!

Grafting is a time-honored method to effectively increase the variety and yield of established apple trees without needing space for additional trees. With heirloom varieties disappearing from the market, food security is a serious issue. Grafting is an excellent way to preserve diversity!

Join David Barnet (Rochester Folk Art Guild) for an interactive workshop teaching you the art and science behind bud grafting, with plenty of time for hands-on practice.

• Scion wood will be available for purchase to take home and try your hand on your own trees!
