At the Guild, community, creativity and self-discovery intertwine.
The Rochester Folk Art Guild is a nonprofit craft education center and working artist community in New York’s Finger Lakes region. Across 350 acres of fields, forest, and active studios, we support long-term craft practice alongside sustainable agriculture and shared work.
Visitors are welcome to explore our gallery of handmade work, attend public programs and seasonal events, take hands-on workshops, or stay at our Guest Center. Whether visiting for a day or returning over time, the Guild offers opportunities to encounter skilled making and the values that sustain it.

East Hill Gallery
Welcome to East Hill Gallery, the Finger Lakes' premier destination for finely crafted functional art.
Nestled on the scenic campus of the Rochester Folk Art Guild in Middlesex, NY, the gallery is a celebration of local, sustainable artistry. Here, you’ll discover unique treasures created by Guild artisans, including natural fiber clothing, handwoven garments, ceramics, wooden bowls, glass jewelry, and more. Each piece reflects the exceptional talent and craftsmanship that define our community.
The gallery is open weekends from May 10 through October, offering visitors the chance to explore our beautiful space and experience the work of Guild artisans in person. Regular hours are Saturdays from 11am to 5pm and Sundays from 1pm to 5pm. We also host special studio sales during the year, and private visits can be arranged by appointment throughout the year.
