Staying at the Folk Art Guild offers a quiet and grounding experience on a 350 acre working farm and artist community in the Finger Lakes. Whether you are joining a workshop, attending a retreat, or visiting as an artist, our guest facilities keep you close to the land, the studios, and the daily life of the Guild.

Surrounded by orchards, gardens, and open fields, our lodging is simple, comfortable, and designed to support focused work and shared time together. Our spaces are available for overnight guests, individual artists, and outside groups seeking day use or multi-day retreats.

    Romeo Meeting and Gathering Space

    The first floor of Romeo is a flexible meeting and gathering space used for workshops, retreats, and day programs. The main room can be set up for meetings, classes, or shared meals, with tables and chairs available for different layouts. The first floor includes a full kitchen, three full bathrooms, and one accessible bedroom, and the building has a wheelchair accessible ramp for entry. The space is available for hourly or full day rentals.

    Romeo Lodging

    The second floor of Romeo offers simple dorm style lodging for overnight guests. There are two shared rooms upstairs: one with eight beds and one with seven beds. This setup works well for workshop groups, visiting artists, and multi day retreats. There is one accessible bedroom on the first floor that sleeps two guests.

    Overnight guests also have access to the full first floor during their stay, including the gathering room, the fully equipped kitchen, and three bathrooms, one of which is accessible.

    The Winds Cabins

    The Winds are three small cabins located just steps from Romeo. Each cabin contains two single beds and basic furnishings. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and suitable for anyone staying overnight. Guests use the shared bathrooms in Romeo.

    Camping

    Camping is available across our open land for guests who prefer to stay outdoors. Tent sites can be set up in fields, along wooded edges, or in quieter corners of the property. Campers have access to bathrooms and water in Romeo.

    Our 350 acre property includes hills, fields, forests, and streams, with walking paths that offer wide views of the surrounding Finger Lakes landscape, abundant wildlife, and seasonal changes like the Monarch migration. Camping is an affordable way to stay onsite and experience the land more closely.
